Trade #1 went paperclip for canoe straight up. After the trade in Columbia, my buddy Shawn and I drove down to Eminence, Missouri and floated 26 miles in two days. We learned that you really should have more than one eating utensil, canoeing at night is a bad idea, and nothing beats a Ham and Easy-Cheese sandwich!

     

We also learned that hitchhiking is not so bad, with special thanks to Dave who owns Redneck Charcoal (True Story). He took us thirty miles out of the way back to our car. It was a great trip. I already consider this exercise to be a success.

Trade #2 was with my wife Kara to Udall, KS which is 20 miles south of Wichita. We met Cameron who is some kind of whiz with mechanical stuff. He made a cool "tall bike" and he put together the mini-chopper. The trade went canoe for mini-chopper straight up. It was a fun getaway weekend for Kara and I (thanks mom and dad for watching the kids!)



Trade #3 was with Brian in Overland Park, KS. No roadtrip this time unfortunately but it was still a good trade adventure. I traded my mini-chopper motorcycle for Brian's Yerf Dog Go Kart. My wife and kids were there and Shawn came with his truck so we could haul it off. We went right to a nearby school and unloaded it and drove it around. The go kart takes me back to my Branson days, flyin around the wooden track on the strip. Its a ton of fun.



Trade #4 was in Lee's Summit MO with Brian S. who wanted to give the go kart to his lucky six year old for Christmas. Brian is a computer specialist that does contract work for Embarq and other companies in the area so if you need someone to set I traded the go kart for two computers, a laptop and a desktop. Brian got right on the go kart and jumped a curve and drove into a puddle. That's what I like to see!
